Recovering from injuries and illness is a process and usually require 6 – 18 sessions/treatments over 3 – 6 months. Recovery is influenced by many factors such as diet, exercise, sleep, stress and the length and depth of your symptoms and most importantly the frequency of your acupuncture sessions, I usually recommend 1 – 2 treatments per week for 4 – 8 weeks followed up with maintenance acupuncture treatments. Each person will be advised individually at their Initial appointment how many sessions they will need and given dietary and herbal recommendations as well as stretching exercises.
